Hello, I’m Lewis, founder of Evergreen Guiding.

I’ve been working in the outdoor industry for over 13 years, building a broad range of experience in both instruction and guiding. Like many, I started out at multi-activity centres, but over time my career has taken me across the UK and beyond, delivering climbing, navigation, mountain skills, canyoning, paddle sports, and corporate training.

I’ve worked internationally as a ski patroller and in mountain rescue environments in Canada and Scotland, and have led expeditions in remote regions including Kyrgyzstan and North America. My experience also includes supporting film and television productions across the UK, providing safety in demanding and complex locations.

At the core of it all is a genuine passion for the outdoors. I’m driven by helping others build confidence, develop real skills, and experience wild places in a safe and meaningful way. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me exploring somewhere new or planning the next expedition.
